Elizabeth Wright | Sr. Program Officer, Sudan Program
Elizabeth Wright is a Senior Program Officer for Conflict Dynamics’ Sudan Program, where she is responsible for various aspects of program implementation and management, including developing practical research products, engagement with actors, and program design, monitoring, and reporting. In her previous role as Conflict Dynamics’ Research Officer, she developed research methodologies, conducted applied research on governance and peacebuilding, and developed and implemented organization-wide systems for program analysis, design, monitoring, evaluation, and learning (ADMEL). She has also served in a program implementation role for the South Sudan Program. Elizabeth’s professional expertise is in conflict transformation, women’s political participation, and program design, monitoring, and evaluation.
Prior to joining Conflict Dynamics in 2012, Elizabeth worked in program management at the Middle East Initiative at Harvard Kennedy School. She has also worked with what is now UNWomen on implementation of Resolution 1325 (Women, Peace, and Security) and the Center for Democracy and Community Development in East Jerusalem. Elizabeth holds a master’s degree in Conflict Resolution from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and a BA in Diplomacy and World Affairs from Occidental College.
